Great service and innovative menu options are at Trumbull kitchen kitchen we've had a variety of plates to savor. the hanger steak was tasty, well cooked and well portioned. But the star of the show was the buttermilk bread crusted chicken sandwich which had the right level of seasoning layered textures and a great bun to round off the flavor. the staff was super friendly and very helpful. highly recommended we will be coming back.

Wow. I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed TK. This place was a late night second home fifteen years ago. Back tonight for NYE. With a four year old. As great as ever for adults. Cocktails. Beer. Food. But the sleeper secret is the best kids meals I have ever seen. Enjoy.
After a morning of protest in drizzle, we sought refuge (and a cold hoppy brew) in the Trumbull Kitchen. It was such a relief to sit at the bar and let Chris provide fabulous service; ice water without asking, requested brews, and a couple of delicious burgers which rarely tasted better. I had a lovely side salad and my co-protester had crispy fries. All around us, cardboard signs and flags showed we were not the only ones to seek refuge here. We were checked on several times and each was a double "thumbs up!" A lovely spot worth returning to!
This should be a must stop for anyone in Hartford. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the marinated hangar steak and the flavors were a taste of perfection! I have to say the Carrie at the bar really made my night. She suggested the steak 🥩 and just had the best personality and old fashioned 😘
We were there for a business meeting. The dinner was absolutely wonderful and everyone at the table enjoyed it. I had the halibut and switched out the sides for potatoes and asparagus. The Connecticut beer selection was OK but I think they could probably use another really good local beer on tap. The desserts were absolutely off the charts. Would highly recommend the carrot cake waffle😍
They’re happy our menu is awesome. The staff is knowledgeable, kind and ready to help. We enjoyed the salmon slider, the marinated beef, the spinach croquettes, and a wonderful Caesar salad. We complimented our meal with some nice wine and well crafted cocktail.
Whoa! Flavors were way beyond expectation! Great service from Ricky too! Recommend the Braised Pork Shank and Crispy Duck Confit!
I had an excellent weekday lunch at Trumbull Kitchen. Huge menu, fresh ingredients, and warm and inviting atmosphere. We loved the kale salad, soup, burgers and fried chicken sandwich. The staff was attentive and everyone enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend!
First time here and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, food, and service were exceptional. Barbara ( but I called her Barbie) was an amazing waitress and was also attentive and helpful. The food tasted delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and the cocktails were delicious! I had a party of 6 and we all enjoy our food and the service. We appreciate everything you guys did to make this a wonderful experience.
